The word

Kuier is what South Africans do best: visit, hang out and chat with good people, usually unhurried and with food or a drink. As in: "Come kuier on Saturday, bring the kids." Stick it on the fridge for the Saffa who misses having people over, or for the American in-laws about to learn what a proper kuier is.

What you get

One Kuier fridge magnet in your choice of style: Sunshine, Seaside, Veld or Sunny Mix.

Size & materials

A flat, square fridge magnet with the word, its say-it guide and its meaning. Printed in the USA. Many stainless-steel fridges aren't magnetic, so it may not stick to yours. Each magnet is 3 × 3 in (7.6 × 7.6 cm).

Gift ideas
  • A housewarming gift for someone who's just arrived
  • "Teach your American in-laws to kuier"
  • A stocking stuffer for your favourite Saffa
